Exd        }   At the request of John Adams the following Deed was recorded August the Granted  }   29th 1758 to Wit~
       This Indenture made this twenty ninth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty eight between William Albough of Frederick County and province of Maryland, Farmer of the one part and John Adams of the County and province afs, Farmer of the other part.  Witnesseth  that the afs William Albough for and in consideration of the sum of twenty pounds Current money of  province to him in hand paid by the said John Adams before the inscribing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said William Albough doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith fully contented and paid  Hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sold unto the same John Adams Delights being part of a tract of Land called the resurvey on Albaughs Choice Situate lying and being in the county afs beginning at the of end twenty three perches at the eighteenth line of the afs resurvey and running thence Viz~ South Nineteen degrees East Twenty three perches then South Seventy eight degree East fourteen perches then South forty seven degrees west forty perches then south seventy five degrees East sixty perches then south five degrees East forty perches then South seven degrees West sixty perches then North forty nine degrees West Fifty two perches then North Seventy one degrees West forty perches then North forty five degrees west sixty perches then by a straight line to the beginning~~ containing sixty two acres of Land more or Less Together with all appurtenances whatsoever unto the same belonging or appertaining To Have and to hold the said Land and premises with all a d Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said John Adams his heirs and Assigns forever and to the only use and behoof of him the said John Adams his heir and assigns and to no other use Intent or purpose and the said William Albough for himself his heirs Executors Administrators doth covenant  and agree to and with the aforesaid John Adams his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said William Albough his heirs Executors and Administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend the said Land and premises unto him the said John Adams his heirs and Assigns against all and every person and persons whatsoever claiming or that shall or may hereafter claim any Right Title or Interest of in or to the same or any part thereof from by or and also shall and will at his request order the cost and charges in this Law of the said John Adams his heirs and Assigns every time hereafter do make Acknowledge Suffer and Execute and Deed or Deeds  or other Instruments of Writing that the said John Adams his heir and Assigns or his or their counsel learnt in the Law  shall or may devise advise or acquire for the further and better Assurances Surety and Suremaking of all and Singular the said Land and premises to him the said John Adams his heirs and Assigns forever provided that such other Deed or Deeds or other Instrument of  Writing that the said John Adams his heirs or assigns or his or their Council learnt in the Law shall or may devise advise or require be no other warrants then is Intended by the above Instrument of Writing.  In Witness whereof the said William Albaugh hath set his hand and affixed his seal this day and year above written ~~

On the back of the foregoing Deed was the following Indorsements to Wit ~~
Received this 29th day of August 1758 of John Adams the sum of Twenty pounds Current money being the consideration money for the within mentioned Land and premises I say received

On this 29th day of August 1758 came the within mentioned William Albaugh party thereto before us the subscribed two of the Lordships Justice of the Peace for Frederick County and acknowledged the within mentioned Land and Premises to be the right and Estate of the within named John Adams his heirs and Assigns forever according to Act  of Assembly in that case made and provided at the same time came Magdeline wife of the said Willliam Albaugh and being examined apart from her husband declared that she doth relinquish  all her right of claim of Dower of and to the within mentioned Land and Premises and that she doth the same freely and voluntarily and was not compelled or Induced thereto by threats of or ill usage of her husband or for fear of his displeasure.

Received this 29th day of August 1758 of John Adams the sum of two shillings and six pence Sterling is an alienation fine on the within mentioned sixty two acres of Land ~~
