Exd        }          At the request of Charity Albough the following Deed was recorded
Grant     }          August the 29th 1758
          To wit   This Indenture made this twenty ninth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty eight Between William Albough of Frederick County and province of Maryland, Farmer of the one part and Charity Albough Daughter of Zachariah Albough of the County and province afs of the other part    Witnesseth that the said William Albough for and in consideration of the Sum of Forty pounds Current money to him in hand paid by the said Charity Albough before the inscribing and Delivery of the afs presents the receipt whereof the said William Albough doth hereby acknowledge Hath granted bargained and sold and by the afs presents doth grant bargain and sell heir the said Charity Albough all that tract or parcel of Land called Charity’s Choice being part of a Tract of Land called Resurvey on Albaughs Choice Situate Lying and being in the County afs  Beginning at the end of forty perches of the sixteenth Course of the aforesaid resurvey and running thence Viz~ South thirty three degrees and a half degree west forty perches then South thirty two perches then South Nineteen degrees East Seventy three perches then South forty four degreed west one hundred and fourteen perches then South Seventy five degrees west twenty perches then North two degrees East twenty perches then North twenty four Degrees west forty perches then North nine degrees South Twenty perches then North thirty eight Degrees west twenty eight perches then North Seventy eight degrees East Seventy two perches then North thirty eight Degrees East forty six perches then North twelve degrees East thirty perches then North thirty perches then beg. A straight line to the beginning containing Ninety Acres of Land more or Less Together with all the appurtenances whatsoever unto the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to Have and to hold the said Land and premises with all and Singular the appurtenances  there unto belonging unto her the said Charity Albough her Heirs and Assigns forever and to the  only proper use and behoof of her the said Charity Albough her heirs and Assigns and to no other use Intent or purpose and the said William Albough for himself his heirs Executors and administrators doth covenant and agree to and with the said Charity Albough her heirs and Assigns that he the said William Albaugh  his heirs Executors Administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend all and every person or person whatsoever claiming or that shall or may hereafter claim any right Title or Interest of in or to the same or any part thereof from by or under him and also shall and will at the request  and at the costs and charges in the Law of the said Charity Albough her heirs and Assigns or her or their council learned in the Law at any time hereafter do make Acknowledge suffer and Execute any other Deed or Deeds or other Instrument of writing that the said Charity Albough her heirs or Assigns or her or their counsel learnt in the Law may or shall  reasonably devise advise or require for the further and better Assurance Surety and Sure making of the afs Land and premises unto her the said Charity Albough her heirs and Assigns forever provided that such other Deed or Deeds or other Instrument of Writing  that the said Charity Albough her heirs or Assigns or her or their counsel Learned in the Law shall or may devise advise or require no other warrantee than is Intended by the above Instrument of writing.

On the 29th day of August 1758 came William Albough before us the subscribers, two of his Lordships Justice of the Peace for Frederick County and acknowledge the within mentioned Land and premises to be the right and Estate of the within mentioned Charity Albough her heirs and Assigns forever according to  the Act of Assembly in that case made and provided and at the same time came Magdeline wife of the said William Albough and being examined out of the hearing of her husband declared that she doth relinquish all her right of Dower of in and to  the within mentioned Land  and premises and that she doth the same freely and voluntarily and was not compelled thereto by threats of or ill usage of husband  or for fear of his displeasure.  Acknowledged before Thos Beatty   Jos Wood ~~~

Received this 29th day of August  1758 of Charity Albough the sum of three shillings and seven pence half  penny sterling as an alienation fine on the within mentioned Ninety acres of Land by order of Edward Loyd Esqr Agent of his Lordship the Lord  Pro**y of Marylans
