In the name of God Amen.

I, William V. Albaugh, of the City of Frederick, in the County of Frederick, and State of Maryland, being poorly in body, but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding,  do make and publish this my last will and testament.

I hereby authorize, empower and direct that my herein after named Executor, shall sell at public or private sale as in his judgement may be most expedient, all by Stocks and bonds or property of whatsoever description owned by me at the time of my death, except such as are hereinafter specifically bequeathed, and after paying my funeral expenses including a suitable monument over my grave, and all my just debts, I bequeath the residue as follows:

Item 1   I give and bequeath to the Trustees of Mt. Olivet Cemetery of Frederick, Maryland, the sum of One hundred dollars, for the purpose of keeping the lot therein, of R.D. Simpson and William V. Albaugh in good condition.

Item 2   I give and bequeath to my brother Theodore F. Albaugh the sum of Five hundred dollars ($500)

Item 3   I give and bequeath to my brother Eugene Albaugh the sum of Four hundred and ninety dollars ($490)

Item 4   I give and bequeath to my niece Laura M. Zimmerman, daughter of my sister Mary C. Zimmerman, Two hundred dollars ($200)

Item 5   I give and bequeath to Katie Zimmerman, daughter of my sister Mary C. Zimmerman the sum of One hundred dollars ($100)

Item 6   I give and bequeath to my friend and partner Melvin E. Doll my rights and interests in the firm of "Doll and Albaugh"

Item 7   I give and bequeath to my nephew John H. Albaugh my Diamond stickpin

Item 8   I give and bequeath to my niece A. Florence Simpson my diamond stickpin.

Item 9   I give and bequeath to my name sake Wm. V. Albaugh, son of my nephew J. Valentine Albaugh my gold watch.

Item 10   I give and bequeath to my nephew Eugene E. Albaugh, my folding bed and springs, and to my niece A. Florence Simpson, the mattress and bed clothing.

All the rest and residue of my estate I bequeath to the children of my brother Joshua Albaugh, namely John H. Albaugh, J. Valentine Albaugh, Susan L. H. Albaugh, Wm. L. Albaugh, Thomas F. Albaugh, A. Florence Simpson, Eugene E. Albaugh, and Irving S. Albaugh. Share and share alike, except as to Eugene E. Albaugh against whom I hold a judgement one half the amount of which judgement I give him, the other half to be taken off from his equal share with his brothers and sisters.

And I do nominate and appoint my nephew John H. Albaugh to be the sole executor of this my last will and testament.

In testimony whereof, I, the above named testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this 15th day of June in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and one.

Signed, sealed, declared, published and acknowledged by the above named testator as and for his last will and testament, in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto.

Maryland, Frederick County, to-wit:
         On this 20th day of June 1901, came John H. Albaugh and made oath in due form of law,  that the aforegoing instrument of writing is the true whole Will and Testament of William V. Albaugh, late of Frederick County, deceased, that has come to hands and possession; that he received the same from Melvin E. Doll who received the same from the Testator for safe keeping, and that he does not know of any others of a later date.

State of Maryland, Frederick County, to-wit:
         On the 20th day of June, 1901, Cassie A.L. Wolfe and on the 24th day of June, 1901 came D.S.T. Haffner the subscribing witnesses to the aforegoing last Will and Testament of William V. Albaugh, late of Frederick County, deceased, and made oath in due form of the law, that they did see William V. Albaugh, the Testator therein named. Sign and seal this Will; that they heard him publish, Pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament, that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehension of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding and capable of executing a valid deed or contract and that they respectively subscribed their names as Witnesses to said Will in the presence of and at the request of Testator and that they did also see each other subscribing witness sign his name as Witness to said Will, at the request of the Testator in his presence and in the presence of each other.

In the Orphans Court of Frederick County:
         The Court after having carefully examined the above last Will and Testament of William V. Albaugh, late of Frederick County, deceased, and also the evidence adduced as to its validity, orders and decrees, this 3rd day of July, A.D. 1901, that the same be admitted to probate in this Court as the true and genuine last Will and Testament of the said William V. Albaugh, deceased.
