Peter Albough - Assignment of Lease
Land Records, Frederick MD Examd } At the request of Peter Albough the following
Assignment of Was possessed of a Lease for a Term of years yet unexpired
for a Tract of Land called Addition to Story’s Chance containing twenty two
acres of Land held under the Lord Proprietary of this Province of his Monocacy
Manor in Frederick County the Reference being had to the Original Lease will
more fully appear now know ye that we who have hereunto set our Hands and Seals
the legal Representatives of the said Zachariah Albough deceased having received
full satisfaction for our proportionable shares of the value of the said Land of
Peter Albough one other of the Representatives of the said Zachariah and also
for the further Consideration of five shillings Current money to us in hand paid
the receipt whereof we do hereby Acknowledge and ourselves fully satisfied,
contented and paid do by these presents jointly and severally for ourselves and
our Heirs Executors and Administrators Assign Transfer and make over unto him
the said Peter Albaugh his Heirs and Assigns all our right title claim property
and Demand in and to the said Lease of Addition to Storys Chance hereby
releasing and disclaiming all and every further Title and Claim of him the said
Peter Albough his Heirs and Assigns. And that he the said Peter Albough may
hereafter during the unexpired Term of the Lease quietly and peaceably have hold
occupy posses and enjoy the said Land with the Appurtenances without the Lot
Trouble disturbances denial Molestation Interruption or Eviction of us the
subscribers our and each of our Heirs and Assigns. In Witness whereof we have
hereunto set our hands and seals this 19th day of Septemr in the year
of our Lord 1774.

Just Sum of one pound eight shillings and seven pence Currency for my part of a

being a accept in full of all Accompts Debts dues an demands from the Beging of
the World to this 19th Day of September 1774~~ Received of Peter Albough by the hands of James Dunan the
Just sum of one pound eight shillings one six pence Currency for my part of a
Lease called Addition to Storys Chance containing twenty two acres of Land this
being a receipt in full of all Acct. debts dues and demands from this beging of
the World to this day September 19th 1774 ~~ Received of Peter Albough the Just sum of Twelve pounds
seventeen shillings and two pence Currency for my part of a Lease called Storys
Chance containing Two hundred and twenty four acres of Land and also of the
Addition to Storys Chance containing twenty two Acres of Land this being a
receipt in full of all Accompts Debts Dues and Demands from the Beging of the
World to this Day September 23rd 1774 ~~ |
