In the name of God, Amen. I, William Albaugh of Frederick County, being but in low sick disposition of health but of sound mind and memory, blessed be God for it, do make, ordain and acknowledge this my last will and testament, forever disannulling all other wills and testament heretofore made by me, giving my soul to God who made me, and my body to the dust from whence it derived, in certain hope of his receival thereof requesting and desiring it to be decently buried by my Executor hereafter nominated and appointed. And as to my worldly goods I give in the manner that followeth, VIZ:

ITEM. I give and bequeath to my son Abraham Albaugh my dwelling plantation with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging, likewise all the tools in the Blacksmith shop on said place, that belongeth thereto, one Bay horse by the name of Dick, one black cow with a white face cauled Plesia, two yeows, 1 plow, swinglertrees and clivices to the same belonging, and all the grain now as may be in the barn or sowed in the ground or any part of the premises (sowed by us) at my decease all the flax that may be pulled or sowed on said place, and the choice of my sows and 3 shoats, he the said Abraham Albaugh to pay the said legacies hereafter mentioned and devised to them or their heirs, in the manner and form hereafter mentioned and devised. Likewise I give and bequeath to the above named Abraham Albaugh my silver watch and the said Abraham to keep my clock at apraizment.

ITEM. I give and bequeath to my son John Albaugh one two years old Iron Gray colt and cow cauled Rose, 2 yeows, 1 feather bed, the bed I now lye on and the furniture thereto belonging and thirty pounds current money as is part of the land, and likewise ten pounds out of my personal estate more than any one of Children the whole & every part thereof it is my Will & desire that my Son Abraham Albaugh shall Keep in his own hands, he the said Abraham to find he my son John above mentioned every sufficient cloathing & every necessary that is request & in case the said Abraham Albaugh should die before my Son John Albaugh the above mentioned property so devised to fawl into the Hands of my Son Zachariah Albaugh & he to take care of him the above named John Albaugh, he the said Abraham & his Heirs to be & this my desire to be made suffichant recompence for the maintenance of him my Son John during the time he thou or may be the case of his continuing with him or his Heirs provided Nevertheless that there should be any remainder or residue of any part of the above Estate remaining after the death of my Son John that it shall shall be returned unto my Son Abrahams Heirs & he my John to have his Equal part of my personal Estate after the devises above mentioned   _ In case that my Son John Albaugh should decease before my Son Abraham without a lawful begotten Heir of his Body it is my Will and desire that he the said Abraham my Son should inherit & enjoy every part & parcel of the property so devised in case he supports & useth him my Son John in the manner before mentioned ____

ITEM.  I give and bequeath unto my Son Zachariah Albaugh five pounds Currant money as is part of my Land whereon I now live to be paid by my Executors in one year after my decease & his equal dividend of my personal Estate after the Legacies heretofore mentioned betaken out infull for his part of my Estate ____                                                                                            

ITEM.  I give & bequeath unto my Son Christian Albaugh thirty pounds Currant money, ten pounds to be paid after the second year after my decease & ten pounds ditto the sixth year likewise after my decease & ten pounds, the tenth year likewise after my decease in full for of this part of my Land and his equal dividend of my personal Estate after the Legacies heretofore mentioned be taken out infull for his part of my Estate ___

ITEM.  I give & bequeath to my daughter Margret Prodbeck thirty pounds Currant Money, to be paid Ten pounds on the third year, ten pounds on the seventh & ten pounds on the eleventh year after my decease for her part of land, likewise her equal dividend of my personal estate after the legacies heretofore mentioned be taken out in full, for his part of my estate.

ITEM.  I give and bequeath to my son by marriage Peter Stimmel thirty pounds current money, to be paid on fourth, the eighth and twelfth years after my decease, the moneys to be paid on them several years for his part of the land, likewise his equal dividend of my personal estate after the legacies heretofore mentioned to be taken out in full for his part of my estate.

ITEM.  I give and bequeath to my daughter Magdelena Etsler thirty pounds current money to be paid on the fifth, ninth and thirteenth years after my decease, the moneys to be paid on these several years for her part of the land. Likewise her equal dividend of my personal estate after the legacies heretofore mentioned to be taken out in full for his part of my estate.

LASTLY, I constitute and appoint my son Abraham Albaugh my sole Executor to pay off and settle all my just debts, likewise all my legacys heretofore mentioned in the manner and form requested. In witness whereof I do hereby acknowledge this to be my last will and testament, forever disanulling all other wills heretofore made by me.

He, the said William Albaugh, in the presence of us, we all and severally seeing him, the said William Albaugh in the presence of us all sign, seal and acknowledge this to be his last will and testament, on the 17th, November 1793.

Then came Abraham Albaugh and made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that the aforegoing Instrument of writing is the true and whole Will and Testament of William Albaugh late of Frederick County deceased that hath come to his hands & possession.                                                                                                     Geo. Then came John Albaugh Conrad Crombogh and Ely Dorsey Junr the three subscribing witnesses to the aforegoing last Will and Testament of William Albaugh late of Frederick County deceased and made Oath on the holy evangels of Almighty God that they did see the Testator therein named sign & sealed this Will that they heard him publish pronounce & declare the same to be his last Will and Testament, that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions of a sound and disposing mind memory understanding, that they respectively subscribe their names as Witnesses to this Will in the presence and at the request of the Testator & all in the presence of each other                                             Geo.
