Daniel Weyandt to Morris Allbaugh
Land Records, Harrison OH Deed Daniel Weyandt & wife to Morris Allbaugh Know all men by these presents, that we Daniel Weyandt and Catharine Weyandt , wife of said Daniel Weyandt of the county of Harrison and State of Ohio, in consideration of the sum of Twenty five dollars in hand paid by Morris Allbaugh of Harrison County and aforesaid State have bargained and sold, and do hereby grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the said Morris Allbaugh his heirs and assigned forever, the following premises situate in the Township of Monroe, County of Harrison & State of Ohio, and in the Town of Bowersville and bounded and described as follows: Being Lot No. Eleven on Main Street described on the plat of said Town being four perches in front and eight back containing in all thirty two perches, it being part of Section No. twenty seven, Township No. thirteen & Range No. six, it being the same Lot deeded by David Bowers and Elizabeth his wife to Adam Renneckan. To have and to hold said premises with the appurtenances, unto the said Morris Allbaugh, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Daniel Weyandt for himself and heirs do hereby covenant with said Morris Allbaugh his heirs and assigns, that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid, that the premises are free and clear from all incumbrances whatsoever and that he will forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances unto the said Morris Allbaugh his heirs and assigns against the lawful claim of all persons whatsoever. In Testimony whereof the said Daniel Weyandt and Catharine Weyandt have hereunto set their hands and seals this sixth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and sixty four. (seal) Be it remembered that before me John C.
Plowman, a Justice of the Peace, in and for said County personally appeared the
above named Daniel Weyandt and Catharine his wife and acknowledged the signing
and sealing of the above conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed. And the
said Catharine being at the same time examined by me separate and apart from her
said husband, and the contents of said instrument made known to her by me did
declare on said separate examination that she did voluntarily sign seal and
acknowledge the same, and that she is still satisfied therewith this sixth day
of May in the year of our Lord on thousand eight hundred and sixty four. I hereby certify that the Deed of which the above is a copy had adhesive stamps attached to the same of the value of _______ cents which were cancelled according to law. I further certify that said Deed was Entered for Record October 12th 1860 and Recorded October 15th A.D. 1864. Joseph Rea, Recorder. |
