Gilbert Thompson to Robert P. Albaugh

This Indenture made
this 7th day of September A.D. one thousand eight hundred and sixty
seven by and between Gilbert Thompson and Elisabeth Ann his wife of the County
of Harrison and State of Ohio of the one part and Robert P. Allbaugh of County
and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Gilbert Thompson
and Elisabeth Ann his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Seven hundred
Dollars current money of the United States of America to them in hand paid by
the said Robert P. Albaugh at the execution of perfecting hereof the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged and they the said Gilbert Thompson and Elizabeth
Ann his wife therewith fully satisfied and paid have granted bargained and sold
and by these presents doth grant, sell, convey and confirm unto the said Robert
P. Albaugh a certain tract and parcel of Land situate lying and being in the
County and State aforesaid containing twenty acres being a part of the North
West quarter of Section Six in Township twelve of Range six in the District of
Steubenville and State of Ohio and bounded as follows: Beginning at the South
West corner of the aforesaid Section of Land running North forty rods, thence
east eighty rods, thence South forty rods, thence west eighty rods to the place
of beginning containing twenty acres. State of Ohio, Harrison County SS. I hereby certify that the Deed of which the
foregoing is a copy had an adhesive stamp attached to the same of the value of
One Dollar which was duly cancelled according to law. I further certify that
said Deed was entered for Record October 3rd 1867 and Recorded
October 8th A.D. 1867.
