Robert P Allbaugh to James Fisher Jr
Land Records, Harrison OH This Indenture made this 21st day of August A.D. one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine by and between Robert P. Allbaugh of the County of Harrison, State of Ohio of the one part and James Fisher Jr. of the County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Robert P. Allbaugh for and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred Dollars, current money of the United States of America, to him in hand paid by the said James Fisher at the execution or perfecting whereof the receipt is hereby acknowledged, and the said R.P. Allbaugh therewith fully satisfied and paid have bargained and granted and sold and by these presents doth Grant Sell convey and confirm unto the said James Fisher Jr. a certain tract and parcel of land situated lying and being in the County and State aforesaid containing Twenty acre being a part of the North West quarter of Section Six (6) in Township Twelve (12) of Range Six (6) in the District of Steubenville and State of Ohio, and bounded as follows: Beginning at the South west corner of the aforesaid section of Land running North forty Rods, thence East Eighty Rods thence South forty rods thence west eighty rods to the place of beginning containing Twenty acres. To have and to hold the above tract of land together with the appurtenances there unto belonging to James Fisher Jr and assigns to the only purpose use and behoof of him the said James Fisher Jr & his assigns forever. And the said R.P. Allbaugh for himself will warrant & forever defend the above tract of land all persons and claims whatsoever claims hereafter to claim the same. In Testimony whereof the aforesaid R.P.
Allbaugh hereunto set his hand & seal the 24 day of August 1869. S.G. Smith, a Justice of the Peace in and
for said county personally came the within named R.P. Allbaugh and acknowledged
the signing and sealing of the within deed to be his voluntary act and deed this
24th day of August A.D. 1869.
I hereby certify that the Deed of which the
foregoing is a copy had an adhesive stamp attached to the value of One Dollar
which was duly cancelled according to law I further certify that said Deed was
entered for record November 22nd and Recorded December 10th
1869. |
