} At the request of William H. Albaugh the following Deed This Indenture made this 19th day of October in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty one Between Jacob Row and Susannah his wife of Frederick County and State of Maryland of the one part and William H. Albaugh of the same county and State aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Jacob Row and Susanna his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars current money to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have given granted bargained sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do give grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto him the said William H. Albaugh his heirs and assigns forever part of a lot of ground thirty feet in breadth and running up with the alley sixty two feet adjoining John Hanbles lot the same being part of the lot number thirty eight hereto for conveyed to the said Jacob Row by a certain Peter Lofler by deed bearing date the eighth day of December Eighteen hundred and two recorded in Liber W.R. No. 23 folios 595 and 396 one of the land records of Frederick County reference being had will fully appear. Together with all and singular the improvements, profits, privileges, easements advantages, appurtenances whatever thereunto belonging or appertaining, To have and to hold the said part of a lot or portion of ground and premises with its appurtenances unto him the said William H. Albaugh, his heirs and assigns forever, free and clear of all incumbrances had made or committed by them the said Jacob Row & Susanna his wife. And the said Jacob Row and Susanna his wife for themselves their heirs executors and admins. Do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said William H. Albaugh his heirs and assigns that the said Jacob Row and Susanna his wife and their heirs the said part of a lot or portion of ground aforesaid with the appurtenances and premises unto him the said William H. Albaugh his heirs and assigns and against all and every person or persons claiming from by or under him them or any of them shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said Jacob Row and Susanna his wife have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above written. Signed sealed and delivered
} Jacob Row (seal) State of Maryland Frederick County, to wit: Be it remembered that on this 19th day of October in the year or Our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty one Before us the subscribers, Justices of the peace of the said State in and for the county aforesaid personally appeared Jacob Row party to the within venture and acknowledged the said Indenture to be his act and deed. Also at the same time and place before is personally appeared Susannah wife of the said Jacob Row party to the within deed and signed sealed and acknowledged the same in the absence of her husband and relinquished and released all her right and claim of dower, in and to the said Lot or portion of ground and premises, described in the said deed and thereby granted, bargained and sold to the said Grantee therein mentioned and the said Susannah being at the same time by us privately apart from & out of the hearing of her said husband did declare that she made her acknowledgment of the same willingly and freely and without being induced thereto by fear of his displeasure.
