Land Records, Frederick MD Examined Philip Deal } At the request of Conrad
Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh the To wit~~ This indenture made this seventeenth day of February in the year one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven Between Daniel Pittinger and Jacob Louder of Frederick County and State of Maryland Farmers of the one part, and Conrad Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh of the County and state afs of the other part. Whereas the said Daniel Pittinger had given a deed of Conveyance to the said Jacob Louder for the under mentioned Land bearing date the second day of July one thousand seven hundred and eighty five and recorded on the twenty second day of September one thousand seven hundred and eighty five in Liber WR. No 6 folio 129 &130 and the same being acknowledged before a certain Joseph Wood, which he being out of Commission at that Time, its thought proper to obtain another deed from the said Daniel Pittinger. Witnesseth that the said Daniel Pittinger and Jacob Louder for and in Consideration of the Sum of four hundred pounds specie to them in Hand paid, the Receipt whereof the said Daniel Pittinger and Jacob Louder do hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant bargain sell transfer confirm and make over unto the said Conrad Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh their Heirs and Assigns forever All that Tract or parcel of Land called “Stick” being part of a Tract of Land called : The Resurvey of Mackeys Choice” lying and being in the County and State aforesaid Beginning at the end of thirty six perches on the third Line of Matthias Morts part of the aforesaid Resurvey on Mackey’s Choice and running thence North sixty seven degrees East thirty two perches to the End of the tenth Line of the aforesaid Resurvey then North five degrees West forty perches North forty degrees East eighty five perches North fifty four Degrees West one hundred and twenty six perches South forty two degrees West ninety five perches to intersect the third Line of Matthias mort’s part of the Resurvey on Mackey’s Choice, Then by a straight Line to the Beginning containing one hundred Acres more or less To Have and to hold the aforesaid Land and premises with the Appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining unto them the said Conrad Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh their Heirs and Assigns forever and to the only proper Use and Behoof of the said Conrad Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh their Heirs and Assigns, and no Interest or purpose whatsoever. And the said Daniel Pittinger and Jacob Louder do for themselves and their Heirs warrant and agree to and with the sd Conrad Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh and their Heirs and Assigns that they the said Daniel Pittinger and Jacob Louder and their Heirs the aforesaid Land and Premises with the Appurtenances unto them the said Conrad Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh and their Heirs and Assigns will well and successfully warrant and forever defend against all manner of Persons Claiming any Right or Title thereunto from by or under them or any of them. And further the said Daniel Pittinger and Jacob Louder do for themselves and their Heirs, Executors and Administrators covenant and agree to and with the said Conrad Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh their Heirs and Assigns and every of them, that he the said Daniel Pittinger and Jacob Louder and their Heirs shall and will from Time to time, and at all Times hereafter at the reasonable request, and at the proper Cost and Charges of the said Conrad Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh their Heirs or Assigns make suffer and executed or cause and promise to be made done suffered and executed all and every such other Act or Acts deed or Deeds Conveyances or Assurances for the further and better *roeing and assessing the hereby bargained Land and Premise unto the said Conrad Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh their Heirs and Assigns forever: Provided such other Act of Acts, deed or Deeds, Coveyances or Assurances contain no other Warrantee that is here by these presents already expressed. Endorsements ~~ On the 17th day of February 1787 Comes Daniel
Pittinger and Jacob Louder before us two of the Justices for Frederick County
and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed, and
the Land, and premises therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the
within named Conrad Coughall and Zachariah Albaugh their Heirs and Assigns
forever. At the same Time comes And Louder wife of the said Jacob Louder and
being by us privately examined did acknowledge that she relinquished her Right
of Dower of in and to the within mentioned Land and Premises of her own free
Will and Consent without being compelled thereto by her husband or from fear of
his displeasure.
