Deed from Stephen Albaugh to Ezra Hart
Know all men by these presents that I, Stephen Albaugh, of theTownship of Allegheny in the
County of Huntington and State of Pennsylvania, for and in consideration of the sum of
eight hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Ezra Hart of the place above mentioned at and
before the unsealing (?) and delivery thereof, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, released and confirmed and by these presents
do grant, bargain, sell, release and confirm unto the said Ezra Hart, his heirs and
assigns, all my estate, right, title, interest, property, claim, and demand whatosever of,
in, to, or out of a certain tract or parcel of land which I now occupy adjoining lands of
Aaron Bains (?) Esq. on the southeast; Jacob Brubaker on the south; Peter Stoner on the
west; and Ezra Hart on the north west; situate [sic] on on Sugar Run in the Township of
Allegheny in the county and state above mentioned, containing one hundred and fifty acres
be the same more or less, together with all and singular the rights, numbers, and
appurtenances thereunto belonging and the reversions and remainders, rents, -(illegible)-,
and profits thereof, and together with all benefit and advantage thereof, to have and to
hold the said tract of land and premises hereby granted, bargained and sold or mentioned
or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Ezra Hart, his heirs and assigns
forever. And the said Stephen Albaugh and his heirs the said hereby granted promises unto
the said Ezra Hart his heirs and assigns forever against him the said Stephen Albaugh and
his heirs and against any all and every other person or persons whatsover lawfully
claiming or to claim by, from, or under him them or any of them shall and will warrant and
forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
the thirteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand, eight hundred, and
thirty-nine.

Received September thirteenth A.D. 1839 of Ezra Hart the sum of eight hundred dollars
being the full consideration money above mentioned. $800.

Be it remembered that on the thirteenth day of September A.D. 1839, before me the
subscriber, one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Huntington came the
above named Stephen Albaugh and acknowledged the above written instrument of writing to be
his act and deed and desired that it might be recorded for the purpose therein mentioned
according to law. In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and
year above written.
