Henry Peckner to Peter Albough
Land Records, Frederick, MD At the Request of Peter Albough the following Bill of Sale was Recorded November 23rd 1769, To Wit~~ Know all Men by these presents J. Henry
Peckner of Frederick County and Province of Maryland for and in Consideration of
the Sum of Thirty Four pounds Common Monney to me in hand paid by Peter Albaugh
of the County and Province af. Before the Ensealing and Delivery of these
presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold and
by these Presents doth grant bargain sell confirm and make over unto the said
Peter Albaugh his Executors administrators or Assigns The following Goods and
Chattels, to wit, one Bay mare Branded on the rear sholder and thigh thus O O
of the value of Six pounds Common money, One Sorrell horse colt of the value of
Two pounds ten shillings of the afsd money, Two Brown Cows one two year old
heifer and one Two year old Bull, all marked with afsd and under Bitt in the
Left ear, of the value of nine pounds like money four head of sheep marked with
a Caop? in the left ear of the value of one pound fifteen shillings of Like
money. One Iron stone of the value of four pounds ten shillings of like money
four Iron potts of the value of one pound twelve shillings of like money, one
plow, plow shiers and coller and one notch cluies? of the vallue of Twenty
Shillings of Like money one frying pan of the value of Six shillings of like
money and one small frying pan with three feet? Of the value of three shillings
of like money, Two narrow accs of the value of ten shillings of like money,
Three Iron wedges and two maul rings of the value of Eight shillings of like
money one mattack of the value of seven shillings of like money, one Iron
shovel, one dung fork, and Pitch Fork and one Dung Hook of the value of Eleven
shillings of like money, Two pewter Dishes of the value of Eight shillings of
like money, one large tub and one small Ditto and one bucket of the value of
Twelve shillings of like money, one Iron Log chain of the value of three
shillings of like money, one Linning Spinning wheel of the value of five
shillings of like money, one old mans saddle and Bridle of the value of Twelve
shillings, Two horse collars and one dutch sithe of the value of fifteen
shillings of like money all which said Goods and Chattels I do hereby warrant
and defend unto the said Peter Albaugh, his executors, Administrators and
assigns from all Persons Claiming any Right Title or interest of in or to the
afsd Goods and Chattels or any of them. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed my seal the twentieth Day of November One thousand seven
hundred and sixty nine

The above named Henry Peckner came before us the Subscribers and acknowledged
the above Instrument of Writing to be his Act or Deed for the **** therein
mentioned
