John Allaback to William V. Baim
Land records, Jefferson OH To all to whom these presents shall come greeting, know ye, that I, John Allaback, of Jefferson County, Ohio, as administrator of the estate of Sarah James, late of said County deceased, who died intestate, by virtue of an order and decree of the Court of Probate for the County of Jefferson in the State of Ohio, made on the first day of July A.D. 1865, duly authorizing me, by virtue of the proceedings then and there had by and in said court to sell the real estate of the said Sarah James, deceased, hereinafter described, and in pursuance of a sale duly made, and reported to and confirmed by said Court, on the ninth day of August in the year A.D. 1865, and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and eighty five dollars, in hand paid by William V. Baim the purchaser at said sale of said Real Estate herein described, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said William V. Baim, his heirs and assigns forever by virtue and in pursuance of the orders, decrees, sale, confirmation and powers above referred to, a certain Inn, Lot of Land, situate in Shelleys addition to the Town of Richmond and described as follows, To wit; being Lot no. nineteen containing sixty feet in front on Main Street, and one hundred and sixty feet from back to front, as recorded in the plot of said addition To have and to hold, the said tract of land or parcel of land, with the privileges and appurtenances thereof to him the said William V. Baim, his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof, I, as administrator have hereunto set my hand and seal this ninth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five (1865) Executed in presence

Peace, in and for said county, personally appeared the above named John
Allaback, administrator of the estate of Sarah James, deceased, and acknowledged
the signing and sealing of the above deed of conveyance to be his voluntary act
ad deed this 9th day of August, A.D.
