Mahlon Martin to Mathias Allaback

This Indenture made this twenty seventh day
of October Anno Domini One Thousand eight hundred and thirty five between Mahlon
Martin of Wellsville, Columbiana County & State of Ohio of the one part and
Mathias Allaback of Jefferson County and State aforesaid of the other part.
WITNESSETH that the said Martin for and in consideration of the sum of one
hundred and twenty dollars to him in hand paid by the said Allaback the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, released and
confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain, sell, release and confirm unto
him the said Allaback his heirs or assigns a certain tract or parcel of land
situate and being in the County of Jefferson and State of Ohio, and described
and designated agreeably to a map and survey thereof by the following
boundaries, to wit: Commencing at a post (A on said Plat) at the South east
corner of Wm. Hamiltons land situate in Section 20 Township 9 Range 2 and
running from thence South 85 perches to a corner from thence West 39 perches to
the center post in said Section, and from thence continuing on a straight line
83.2 perches to a post at C (as per map) thence North 57.8 perches to a post at
D (as per map) thence N. 64 ½ E. 82.8 perches to E (as per map) Thence South 80
E. 48.2 perches to A 9 (as per map) the place of beginning containing sixty one
acres three rods and ten perches more or less. To have and to hold the above
described tract or parcel of land with all privileges thereunto belonging unto
him the said Allaback his heirs or assigns forever, to his and their own proper
use and behoof. And the said Mahlon Martin does hereby bind himself his heirs
or assigns to warrant against all lawful claims and demands whatsoever. STATE OF OHIO |
