Know all men by these presents, that we
Hiriam C. Boid and Mary Jane his wife, and Madison Albaugh and Elisabeth his
wife, of the County of Jefferson and State of Ohio for and in consideration of
the sum of Three hundred & ninety dollars to them in hand paid, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained and sold and by these
presents do grant bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto William A. Day of the
county of Jefferson and State of Ohio, his heirs or assigns, all the following
described Land with the appurtenances, situate in the County of Jefferson and
State of Ohio, Sct number nine (9) in the Town of Unionport, which will more
fully appear on Plat of said Town. Recorded at the proper office in
Steubenville.
To have and to hold the above described
tract of Land and Premises with the appurtenances unto the said William A. Day
his heirs and assigns forever, and the said Hiriam C. Boid & Mary Jane his wife
and Madison Albaugh & Elisabeth his wife for themselves & heirs, executors and
administrators hereby covenant with are said William A. Day, his heirs and
assigns, that they are lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid, that they are
free and clear from all incumbrances whatsoever and that they will forever
warrant and defend the same unto the said William A. Day his heirs and assigns
against all Lawful claims whatsoever.
In testimony whereof the aforesaid Hiriam C.
Boid & Mary Jane his wife and Madison Albaugh & Elisabeth his wife hereunto set
their hands and seal this eighteenth day of July A.D. 1863

The State of Ohio, Jefferson County ss.
On the eighteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and sixty three, before me a Justice of the Peace within and for said County,
personally appeared, the said Hiriam C. Boide and Mary Jane his wife and Madison
Albaugh and Elisabeth his wife who signed and sealed the foregoing deed, and
acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be their act and deed for the
purpose therein expressed and the said Mary Jane Boide wife of said Biode.
Elisabeth Albaugh wife of said Madison Albaugh being by me examined separate and
apart from their said husbands and the contents of the said deed, being made
known to them by reading the same in their presence, they did declare upon such
separate examination that they did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the
same and that they still satisfied therewith.
