DEED         Elizabeth Long to Morris Albaugh

Know all men by these presents, that I Elizabeth Long of the County of Harrison and State of Ohio in consideration of the sum of Eighty Five dollars in hand paid by Morris Albaugh of the same place have bargained and sold and de hereby grant and convey unto the said Morris Albaugh his heirs and assigns forever the following premises situated in the Town of Bowersville and in the County of Harrison State of Ohio and distinguished on the town plat by No Seventy Seven 77 containing thirty two perches and being part of Section twenty seven 27 Township thirteen 13 and Range Six 6 and being part of Section Twenty seven 27, Township thirteen 13 and Range Six 6 and being in the Steubenville Land District Ohio.
            To have and to hold said premises with the appurtenances unto the said Morris Albaugh his heirs and assigns forever; and the said Elizabeth Long for herself and heirs doth hereby covenant with the said Morris Albaugh his heirs and assigns that she is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid that the premises are free and clear from all incumbrances whatsoever and that I will forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances  unto the said Morris Albaugh his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.

Before me W.B. Johnston, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally appeared the within named Elizabeth Long and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within conveyance to be her voluntary act and deed this 30th day of March A.D. 1864.
