John Albaugh to Andrew Etzler

                                                 At the request of Andrew Etzler the following deed was recorded
                                                 The 15th day of April 1805, to wit ~~

This Indenture made this Twenty Eighth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and four  Between John Albaugh senr of Frederick County and State of Maryland of the one part and Andrew Etzler of the same County and State aforesaid of the other part.   Witnesseth that the said John Albaugh Senr for an in consideration of the sum thirty three pounds Seven Shillings Current money to him in hand paid by the said Andrew Etzler at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said John Albaugh Senr doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith to be fully satisfied and paid hath given granted bargained sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell unto the aforesaid Andrew Etzler his heirs and assigns all that parcel of Land being part of a tract of Land called Standing Stone situate in Frederick County aforesaid Beginning for the said parcel of Land at a stone planted at the end of five and a quarter perches on the third line of a Tract of Land called “Millrights Design” and running thence with the out lines thereof two courses South fifteen degrees West six and three quarters perches to a stone planted South Seventy nine degrees West Seventy four perches to a stone planted then South Seventy degrees East Sixty one and a half perches to a Stone planted North thirty degrees East forty five perches then with a straight line to the first Beginning containing Eight acres of Land more or less Together with all and singular the improvements and advantages with the appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining and all the Estate Right Title interest claim and demand whatsoever of him the said John Albaugh of in and to the said parcel of Land and premises and every part thereof.  To have and to hold the said parcel of Land and premises and every part thereof with the appurtenances unto the said Andrew Etzler his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Andrew Etzler his heirs and assigns forever.  And the said John Albaugh senr for himself and his heirs the said parcel of land and premises with the appurtenances and every part thereof against him the said John Albaugh and his heirs and against all and every person and persons whatsoever claiming or to claim by from or under him them or any of them to the said Andrew Etzler his heirs and assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.  In witness whereof the aforesaid John Albaugh senior hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written…                                                                                             his

Frederick County           On the twenty Eighth day of December 1804 Came the within named John Albaugh Senr before us the subscribers two Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid And acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his act and deed and the parcel of Land and premises therein mentioned and described to be the parcel of Land and premises therein mentioned and described to be the right and Estate of the said Andrew Etzler his heirs and assigns forever according to the true intent and meaning of the said Deed and the Acts of Assembly in such cases made and provided.
