Exam and Deliv’d Granting }    At the request of John Albaugh Junr. The following
3rd Decem 1792                 }    deed was recorded 12th August 1785, to wit,

This indenture made this sixteenth day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty five Between John Albach Sen'r of Frederick County and State of Maryland Farmer & Catharine his wife of the one part  and John Allbach Junr.  Of the County and State aforesaid, Farmer of the other part  witnesseth that the said John Allbach Senr for and in consideration of the sum of three pounds lawful Mary'd currency to him in Hand paid by the said said John Allbach Junr the receipt whereof the said John Allbach Senr doth hereby acknowledge and for and in Consideration of the yearly Rent of seven Shillings and six pence Current Gold & Silver money to be paid to John Young or to Heirs Exectrs. And Adminstrs. Which s’d Annuity to commence on the 22nd day of June last hath given granted bargained and sold alien’d releas’d and confirm’d, and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto him the s’d  John Allbach Junr. His heirs and Assigns forever a certain Lott of Ground laying in the place called Liberty Town in Frederick County Maryld State, known and distinguished by the Number 30.  Beginning at a stone mark’d AL, being fifty Feet front and three hundred deep, and running South four degrees past three hundred feet.  Then South eighty six degrees West one hundred Feet then North four degrees West three hundred feet.  Then with a straight Line to the South side of the Street to the Beginning containing one of the Town Lotts.  Together with all and singular the Buildings and Improvements, and all the premises and appurtenances to the s’d Lott belonging or in any wise appertaining     To have and to hold the said Lott of Ground together with all the Buildings and Appurtenances, on the conditions above mentioned, unto him the s’d John Allbach Junr. His heirs and Assigns, and to no other Intent and Purpose, whatsoever.  And the s’d John Allbach Sen’r for himself his heirs for doth hereby consent and agree to and with the s’d John Allbach Junr. His heirs and Assigns that the s’d John Allbach Senr. Shall and will from Time to Time and all Times forever hereafter warrant and defend the s’d Lott of Ground and premises against all manner persons claiming any Right Title Interest or Property unto the afores’d Lott Number 30. and also that he the s’d John Allbach Senr. His heirs shall and will from Time to Time, and at all Times Forever hereafter at the proper cost and charges for him the s’d John Allbach Jun’r his Heirs and Assigns do make acknowledge suffer execute, or cause to be done made acknowledges suffered and executed all and every such further Acts things Assurances or Conveyances in the law, as by the s’d John Allbach Junr. His Heirs and Assigns, or his or their Council heirs in Law shall be reasonably devised advised or required for the further and better Assurances & Lastly of all and singular the premises hereby bargain’d and sold, according to the true intent and Meaning of these presents.  In witness whereof the s’d John Allbach Sen’r and Catharine his wife have hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year above written

Which deed was thus endorsed  sct,,

Received this 16th day of May, of John Allbach Junr. The sum of three pounds lawful Maryd Currency the Consideration express’d in the within deed except the yearly rent of seven Shillings and six pence Current Money as mentioned in the within deed

On the 16th day of May 1785.  Came the within named John Allbach Sen’r before us two of the Justices of the Peace for Frederick County and acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and deed, and the Lott of Ground and premises therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named John Allbach Jun’r his Heirs and Assigns forever.  At the same time came Catharine wife of the s’d John Allbach Sen’r and being privately examined apart from and out of the Hearing of her s’d husband, acknowledged her right of Dower in the within Land and premises and that she did the same freely and voluntarily without being induced thereto by Fear or Threats of  *usage s’d Husband, or for fear of his displeasure
