In the name of God Amen, I Jeremiah W. Albaugh of Frederick County and State of Maryland being in perfect health of body and of sound disposing mind, memory and understanding considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call one, hence do therefore make and publish this, my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say,

First and principally I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of any Executrix hereinafter named and after my debts and funeral charges are paid I devise and bequeath as follows

I bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Henrietta E. Albaugh all my personal and real Estate of every kind and nature and to dispose of the same by Public Sale or otherwise as she may determine and apply the proceeds thereof to her use and benefit also my interest of my fathers estate, William A. Albaugh, decease, both real and personal of every kind and nature to her any said wife Henrietta E. Albaugh for her use and benefit or to dispose of the same or any part thereof as she may determine and I further authorize and empower her to execute a deed or deeds for my undivided interest of the said real estate or any part thereof or any conveyance or receipts for the proceeds thereof as fully and effectually as I could have done.

And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my dear wife Henrietta E. Albaugh to be sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made ratifying ans confirming this and none other to be my last Will and Testament.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 27th day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six.

Signed sealed published and declared by Jeremiah W. Albaugh the above named testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

Maryland, Frederick County, to wit:
         On this 25th day of February, 1889, came Parmalor Fuier and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God, that the aforegoing instrument of writing is the true whole Will and Testament of Jeremiah W. Albaugh, late of Frederick County, deceased, that has come to his hands and possession; the he received the same from Mrs Henrietta E. Albaugh and that he does not know of any other of a later date.

State of Maryland, Frederick County, to wit:
         On the 25th day of February, 1889 came Andrew N. Cramer, one of the subscribing witnesses to the aforegoing last Will and Testament of Jeremiah W. Albaugh, late of Frederick County, deceased, and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God, that he did see Jeremiah Albaugh the testator therein named sign and seal this Will; that he heard him publish, pronounce, and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament; that at the time of his so doing he was, to the best of his apprehension, of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, and carefully capable of executing as did, deed or contract and that they respectively subscribed and signed their names as witnesses to said Will, in the presence of and at the request of the Testator, and that he did also see J. D. Crumbaugh & Peter Cramer, now deceased, the other subscribing witness sign his name as witness to said Will at the request of the Testator, in his presence, and all in the presence of each other, and that names of J.D. Crumbaugh & Peter Cramer now deceased, are their true and genuine signatures.

In the Orphans Court of Frederick County
         I have carefully examined the above last Will and Testament of Jeremiah W. Albaugh, late of Frederick County, deceased, and also the evidence adduced as to its validity Orders and queries(?), this 25th day of February, A.D. 1889 that the same be admitted to probate in this Court as the true and genuine last Will and Testament of the said Jeremiah Albaugh, deceased.
