This Indenture made this thirty first day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixteen Joseph Hendricks and Margret his wife of the County of Harrison and State of Ohio of the one part , Moris Albough of the County and State aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Joseph Hendricks and Margret his wife for and in consideration of Seventy Dollars in hand paid by the said Moris Albough at and before their sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof the do hereby acknowledge and themselves fully satisfied have granted bargained and sold unto the said Moris Albough his heirs and assigns a certain house and Lot of Ground in the town of New rumley Known by the number forty three it being laid out by Jacob custer in the south east quarter of section fourteen and township twelve and range five of the lands directed to be sold at Steubenville Patent bearing Date the tenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and fifteen together with all and singular the appertained me thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the said house and lot with the appertainences to the said Moris Albough and his heirs and assigns forever and the said Joseph Hendricks and Margret his wife will forever warrant and defend against all persons claiming the same in anywise. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and year first above written. Signed sealed and delivered
