David Albaugh to Frederick Ungefer

                                 At the request of Frederick Ungefer the following Deed was recorded
                                 11th February 1795, to wit ~~

This Indenture made this twenty second day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five Between David Albaugh of Frederick County and State of Maryland, Farmer of the one part and Frederick Ungefer of the same County and State, Blacksmith of the other part.  Witnesseth that the said David Albaugh for and in Consideration of the sum of eighty five pounds current money to him in hand paid or secured to be paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and himself to be therewith fully satisfied and contented.  Hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Frederick Ungefer and his heirs  All the following Tract or Parcel of Land lying and being in the County aforesaid Beginning at a stone placed at the end of two hundred and twenty six perches on the fifth line of a Tract of Land called the Resurvey on Wingfrolds Delight and running thence with said land South forty degrees West one hundred and thirty four perches to a stone North sixty five degrees West twenty three and one quarter perches to a stone at the end of the twentieth five of a Tract of Land called Warfields Good Luck, and with it revised South fifty five and three quarters degrees West six perches to a Stone at the end of six perches on the sixth line of a Resurvey made on a Tract of Land called Albaugh’s Delight and with said Land revised South sixty two degrees East twenty perches to a Stone South eighteen degrees West forty four perches to a stone at the end of the twelfth line of a Tract of Land called The Resurvey on Spring Garden and with said  Land South sixty five degrees East twenty two perches to a stone North forty degrees East ninety perches to a stone North ninety degrees East two and three quarter perches to two bounded White Oaks the beginning  of a Tract of Land called Richard Hunling Ground and with said Land North nine degrees East fifty two perches to a stone North fifty six degrees East eighteen perches to a stone then by a straight line to the first Beginning containing twenty seven acres and one quarter of an acre of Land.  Which said Land was granted by patent to the said David Albaugh out of the Land Office of the state aforesaid bearing the date the fifth day of October seventeen hundred and eighty nine as by the said patent reference being thereto had may appear, and all and singular the Houses, Orchards, Gardens, Meadows, Fences and Improvements as to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining and also the revision  and revisions, remainder and remainders Right Estate Interest Benefit Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said David Albaugh and his heirs and to all and singular the Land and premises aforesaid with their and every of their Appurtenances and of in and to every part and parcel of them.  To have and to hold the aforesaid bargained Land and premises with other the Improvements and privileges thereunto in anywise appertaining unto the said Frederick Ungefaire his heirs and Assigns forever to the only use and Behoof of him the said Frederick Ungefaire his heirs and assigns ~~ And the said David Albaugh for himself and his heirs the said bargained Land and premises with their and every of their Appurtenances unto the said Frederick Ungefaire his heirs and Assigns against him the said David Albaugh his heirs and assigns and all peoples claiming the same by from or under him or them, or any of them shall also will warrant and forever defend.  In witness whereof the parties aforesaid have interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Recd of Frederick Ungefaire the sum of eighty five pounds current money it being the Consideration Money within mentioned.  As Witness my Hand this 21 day of January 1795.        David Albaugh

On the 22nd day of January 1795 came the within named David Albaugh before us two Justices of the Peace for Frederick County and acknowledged the within deed to be his Act and Deed and the Land and premises therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Frederick Ungefer his heirs and assigns forever ~~  At the same time appeared before us  ___________ Albaugh the wife of the said David Albaugh who being by us examined apart from and out of the hearing of her said husband acknowledged her Right of Dower in the Lands and premises within mentioned and that she did the same freely & voluntarily without being induced thereto by fear or threats of ill usage by her said husband or fear of his displeasure
