David Albaugh, a minister, moved into the Conemaugh congregation from Blair County, Pennsylvania, when he was well advanced in years. He had been a useful and influential member of the Frankstown Church in his native county. He was a brother of excellant character, and kind-hearted. He labored in the Conemaugh congregation until his death, which occurred March 2, 1867, at the age of 79 years, 6 months and 7 days. The funeral services were conducted by Brethren Solomon Benshoff, William Byers and Stephen Hildebrand, and his body was laid to rest in the Angus cemetery, near the old Horner meeting house.
