Christian Albaugh to William Albaugh
Know all men by these presents that we Christian Albaugh and
Catharine Albaugh, wife of said Christian Albaugh of Jefferson County & State of
Ohio, in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred dollars lawful money in hand
paid by William Albaugh of the County and State aforesaid, do hereby remise,
release and forever quit claim unto the said William Albaugh his heirs and
assigns forever, all our title, interest and estate, legal and equitable in the
following premises with the appurtenances, situate in the County of Jefferson in
the State of Ohio, and in the Township of Salem and bounded and described as
follows: it being the East half of the South West quarter of Section number
Twenty five of Township number Ten in Range number Three containing Eighty acres
more or less. In Testimony whereof we have here unto set our hands and seals
this twenty second day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand and
eight hundred and fifty five.

Before me William Vantz a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally
appeared the within or above named Christian Albaugh and Catharine his wife and
acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within or above named Quit Claim
deed, to be their voluntary act and deed: and the said Catharine being at the
same time examined by me, separate and apart, from her said husband and the
contents of said instrument made known to her by me, she then declared that she
did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledged the same and that she is still
satisfied therewith, this 22nd day if September A.D. 1855.
