Christian Albaugh to William Stafford, Jr.

Know all men by these present, that we
Christian Albaugh and Sarah Albaugh, in consideration of the sum of Three
hundred dollars, in hand paid by William Stafford, do hereby remise, release and
forever quit claim unto the said William Stafford, his heirs and assigns
forever, all our title, interest and estate, legal and equitable to the
following premises, with the appurtenances, situate in two district tracts of
land, belonging to the estate of William Stafford, deceased and to his wife
Catharine Stafford, of the County of Jefferson, Ohio, the first tract situate in
the County of Jefferson, in the State of Ohio being the whole of the north half
of the North eat quarter of section thirty one of Township Ten of Range three of
the lands directed to be sold at Steubenville, Ohio, containing seventy six and
a half acres more or less ~~ The second tract situate in the County of
Tuscarawas, in the State of Ohio being the North west quarter of the north east
quarter of section thirty five (35) of the Township fourteen (14) of Range Seven
(7) in the district of land subject to sale at Steubenville, Ohio, containing
Forty acres and twenty five hundredths of an acre, be the same more or less The State of Ohio, Jefferson County SS. Before me John J. Griber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, personally appeared before me, the above named Christian Albaugh and Sarah Albaugh his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the above conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed, and the said Sarah Albaugh, being at the same time examined by me, separate and apart from her said husband, and the contents made known to her by me, she then and there declared that she did voluntarily sign, seal and acknowledge the same, and that she is still satisfied therewith.
