George Censor to William Albaugh

Examd, Deld, Granted        }        At the request of William Albaugh senr the following Bill of Sale was
Abraham R. Jeracob 1791  }        recorded 25th February 1789,  to wit ~~

Maryland ss.             Know all Men by these presents that I George Censor of Frederick County, Farmer for and in consideration of the sum of eighteen pounds eighteen shillings and nine pence current Gold and Silver specie to me in hand by William Albaugh senr of the same county, Farmer at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents wherewith I confess myself to be fully satisfied contented and paid have bargained and sold and by these presents do fully clearly and absolutely bargain and sell unto the said William Albaugh senr in plain and open Market according to Law one seproll? Horse with a bald face called Dick, one black three years old Mans? Colt, two Cows with black and white spots called Sterling and Rosa one brindled and one *gale brindled horse one Still kettle two Sows and five Shoats marked with a Cros in one ear and a slit in the other, and all my household Goods and Furniture To have and to hold the above mentioned Goods and Chattels unto him the said William Albaugh senr his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns to the only use and behoof of him the said William Albaugh his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns.  And the said George Censor, for myself and my Heirs and Assigns the said Goods and Chattels and every of them unto the said William Albaugh his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns against all persons claiming the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and defend provided nevertheless  that if I the said George Censor my Heirs and Assigns shall pay and satisfy unto the said William Albaugh his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns the said sum of eighteen pounds eighteen shillings and nine pence current Gold and Silver specie with legal interest for the same on or before the first day of December next ensuing the date hereof then this Bill of Sale and every Clause and Thing therein contained shall be null and void and of no effort or force whatsoever.  In witness whereof I the said George Censor has hereunto set my hand and seal this 23rd day of February 1789

On the back whereof was this endorsed  to wit ~~

On the 23rd day of February 1789 came the within named George Censor before me and acknowledged the within Bill of Sale to be his Act and Deed and Goods and Chattels thereby bargained and sold to be the Right and Property of the within named William Albaugh Senr his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns according to Act of Assembly in such cases made and provided
