Andrew Cable to Levi Albaugh
This Indenture made this sixteenth day of November in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three between Andrew Cable and
Nancy his wife in the County of Jefferson and the State of Ohio of the one part
and Levi Albaugh of the County aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the
said Andrew Cable and Nancy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of four
hundred dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell
convey and confirm unto the said Levi Albaugh his heirs or assigns the following
described In Lot with the appurtenances situate lying and being in the County of
Jefferson and State of Ohio and is bounded as follows to wit, on the South side
of Market Street in the town of Annapolis County and State aforesaid marked on
the plot of said town and numbered fifty six containing in front on said Market
street sixty feet and in length or depth one hundred and thirty two feet also
fifteen feet off the East side of Lot No. fifty eight the same being bounded
North by Market Street South by Second Street and west by the aforesaid Lot No.
fifty eight in the town of Annapolis County and State aforesaid containing in
front on said Market Street fifteen feet and in length or depth one hundred and
thirty two feet. To have and to hold the above described In Lot and premises
with the appurtenances and also the above described In Lot and premises with
appurtenances and also the above described fifteen fifteen feet of Lot No. Fifty
eight to the said Levi Albaugh his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and
behoof of the said Levi Albaugh his heirs and assigns forever and the said
Andrew Cable and Nancy his wife of for themselves and their heirs Executors and
Administrators do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Levi Albaugh
his heirs and assigns, that they the said Andrew Cable and Nancy his wife will
warrant and forever defend against all lawful claims whatsoever. In Testimony
whereof the aforesaid Andrew Cable and Nancy his wife have hereunto set their
hands and seals the date and year above written.

On the sixteenth day of
November eighteen hundred and thirty three, before me a Justice of the Peace in
and for said County personally appeared Andrew Cable and Nancy his wife who
signed & sealed the foregoing deed and acknowledged the signing and sealing
thereof to be their act and deed for the purposes therein expressed. And the
said Nancy his wife being by me examined separate and apart from her said
husband and the contents thereof by me made known to her she did declare that
she did voluntarily sign and seal the same without any compulsion on the part of
her said husband, and is still satisfied therewith. Given under my hand and
