the request of John Albaugh the following Bill of Sale Know all men by these presents that I Charles Arthur, of Frederick County and State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of seventy dollars current money to me in hand paid by John Albaugh of the County and State aforesaid at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents grant, bargain and sell unto the said John Albaugh his executors, administrators and assigns one cow, one ten plate stove and pipe, two beds, bedsteads, and bedding, half dozen chairs, my hatters kettle and all my hatter tools, all which property is now in my possession, to have and to hold the above described property above bargained and sold to the said John Albaugh his executors, administrators and assigns forever to his and their only proper use and benefit and I the said Charles Arthur for myself, my executors and administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents to the said John Albaugh his executors, administrators and assigns the said described property against all and every other person or persons whomsoever claiming the same or any part thereof.
