Bazil Allbaugh to Morris Allbaugh
Know all men by these presents that we Bazil
Allbaugh & Nancy Allbaugh wife of Bazil Allbaugh of the County of Harrison &
State of Ohio of or and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred & fifty
dollars to us in hand paid by Morris Albaugh the receipt whereof is herein
acknowledged do give grant bargain and sell and by these presents convey unto
the said Morris Albaugh his heirs assigns Executors or Administrators the
following described premises to wit: Being part of the west half of the South
west quarter of Section Number thirteen (13) of Township thirteen of Range Six
(6) Beginning for the same at the North west corner of said Southwest quarter
thence South 1º west 41.15 perches thence S 89º W 78.5 perches thence North 1º
east 41.88 perches to the North East corner of said half quarter thence west
along North line of said section to the place of beginning containing twenty
acres be the same more or less.
To have and to hold unto the said Morris Allbaugh his
heirs assigns executors or administrators Together with all and singular the
privileges thereunto belonging or in any way appertaining. And said the said
Basil Allbaugh & Nancy his wife do for themselves their heirs executors or
administrators covenant that they are the true and lawful owners of the same and
have full power to sell the same & that they will further warrant and defend the
same against the lawful claims of any person whomsoever.
In Testimony whereof we have hereunto signed our names and
affixed our seals the first day of Nov AD
1869.

Before me Samuel G. Smith a Justice of the Peace in and for said county
personally appeared the within named Bazil Allbaugh and Nancy his wife and
acknowledged the signing and sealing to be their voluntary act and deed. And
Nancy wife of said Bazil Allbaugh being by me examined separate and apart form
her husband and the contents of this conveyance made known to her she did
declare that she voluntarily signed and sealed the same and that she is still
satisfied therewith this first day of November A.D. 1869.

I hereby certify
that the Deed of which the foregoing is a copy, had an adhesive stamp attached
to the value of one dollar which was duly cancelled according to law. I further
certify that said Deed was entered for Record May 2nd 1870 and
Recorded June 4th 1870.
