Estate of Anthony Sell
Be it remembered that on this tenth day of July A.D. 1866 The
last Will and Testament of Anthony Sell was brot into Court together with the subscribing
witnesses viz. John Gregg and William D. Scott who being first duly sworn do say upon
their oathes that they saw the testator sign his name to the end of said Will and that at
the time of signing said will he was of sound mind and memory that he was of lawful age
and free from restraint and that they signed the same in his presence and at his request
as witnesses. Thereupon the Court does find that said Will was in all respects duly
executed and attested the same is admitted to probate court and the testimony recorded.
And sai will is in the words and figures following to wit
In the name of the Benevolent Father of all, I Anthony Sell,
Snr. of Perry Township, Carroll County Ohio do make and publish this my last will and
testament.
First It is my will that my funeral expenses and all
my just debts be fully paid.
2nd I give and devise to my son Gabrel Sell one
dollar
3rd I give and devise to my son John Sell
one dollar
4th I give and devise to my daughter Mary
Sell one dollar
5th I give and devise to my daughter
Lola(?) Thompson one dollar
6th I give and devise to my son Peter
Sell one dollar
7th I give and devise to my daughter
Sophia Louz one dollar
8th I give and devise to my son Harrison
Sell one dollar
9th I give and devise to my daughter
Catharine Allbaugh one dollar
10th I give and devise to my son Benjamin Sell one
dollar
11th I give and devise to my daughter Ann Arbaugh one
dollar
12th I give and devise to my son Anthony Sell one
dollar
13th And the remainder of my estate both real and
personal I give and devise to my daughter Margaret Allbaugh.
14th I do hereby nominatte and appoint Samuel Williams
Executor of this my last will and testament hereby authorizing and empowering him to
compronaize and adjust, release and discharge in such manner as he may sum propper.
the **** and claims due me. I do also authorize and empower him if it shall become
nessary in order to pay my debts, to sell by provet sale or otherwise upon such terms as
he may think propper all an any part of my real estate, and deeds to pure****** to
execute, acknowledge and deliver in fee simple.
I hereby revoke all former wills by
me made.
In testimony whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of June A.D. 1866.
