DEED
W.B. Anderson to William Allbaugh
Know all men by these presents that I, W.B.
Anderson of the County of Harrison and State of Ohio in consideration of the sum
of Four Thousand Dollars to be paid by William Albaugh of the County and State
aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby Grant, Bargain,
Sell and convey, to the said William Albaugh his heirs and assigns forever the
following Real Estate situate in the County of Harrison in the State of Ohio and
in the Steubenville Land District and bounded and described as follows viz:
Being known as Fifty acres of Land Bequeathed to William Houser by Elijah
Bartoro off of the South west quarter of Section Seven Township thirteen (13)
Range Six (6). Also Twenty acres off of the same quarter section Beginning
for the same at the North west corner of said fifty acres Thence North twenty
rods thence east one hundred and sixty rods to the place of beginning.
Also Ten acres off of the west half of the south east quarter of said Section
beginning for the same at the South west corner of said half quarter Thence
North seventy
Rods thence East Twenty two & eight tenths (22 8/10) Thence South seventy rods
thence West twenty two & eight tenths (22 8/10) to the place of beginning
containing in all eighty acres of land (80) more or less.
To have and to hold said premises with all the privileges and
appurtenances there unto belonging to the said William Albaugh his heirs and
assigns forever. And the said W.B. Anderson for himself and his heirs do hereby
covenant with the said William Albaugh his heirs and assigns that he is lawfully
seized of the premises aforesaid. That the said premises are free and clear
from all incumbrances whatsoever and that he will warrant and defend the same
with the appurtenances unto the said William Albaugh his heirs and assigns
against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
In witness whereof the said W. B. Anderson has hereunto set his
hand and seal this 30th day of August in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and seventy.

Be it remembered that on this thirtieth day of August A.D. 1870 Before me the
subscriber, a Justice of the Peace on and for said County personally came the
above named W.B. Anderson the Grantor in the foregoing Deed and acknowledged the
signing and sealing of the same to be his voluntary act and deed for the uses
and purposes herein mentioned and that he is still satisfied hereunto. In
Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name on the day and year last
aforesaid.

I hereby certify that the Deed of which the foregoing is a copy had adhesive
stamps attached in the sum of
Four Dollars which were duly cancelled according
to law. I further certify that said Deed was entered for
Record October 6th
