Robert Anderson to R.P. Albaugh

DEED    Robert Anderson & wife to Samuel and R.P. Albaugh

Know all men by these presents that we Robert Anderson and Esther Anderson his wife of the County of Harrison and State of Ohio in consideration of the sum of Twenty nine hundred dollars in hand paid by Samuel Albaugh ad R. Albaugh of the same place have bargained and sold and do hereby Grant and Convey unto the said Samuel Albaugh and R. Albaugh their heirs and assigns forever the following premises situated in the County and State aforesaid and in the Steubenville land district of said State Viz. the west half of the south west quarter of section twelve (12) in Township twelve (12) of Range six (6) containing Seventy six acres more or less.
                To have and to hold said premises with the appurtenances unto the said Samuel Albaugh and P. Albaugh their heirs and assigns forever, and the said Robert Anderson for himself and heirs do hereby covenant with said Samuel Albaugh and P. Albaugh their heirs and assigns against the lawfull claims of all persons whatsoever.  In Testimony whereof the said Robert Anderson and Esther Anderson have hereunto set their hands and seals this 3rd day of April A.D. 1873.

State of Ohio, Harrison County S.S.
                Before me W.B. Johnston, Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally came the within named Robert Anderson and Esther Anderson and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the foregoing Deed of Conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed, and the said Esther Anderson being examined by me at the same time separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said Instrument made known to her she then declared that she did voluntary sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied therewith this 3rd day of April A.D. 1872
