Exmd Del Granted   }                            At the request of George Riner the following deed is recorded  
9th February 1811    }                            20th October 1810, to wit  ~~

This Indenture made this twenty second day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten, between Christian Albaugh, Catharine his wife, Samuel Waltz & Barbara his wife and Margaret Riner of the State of Maryland and Frederick County of the one part and George Riner of the County and state aforesaid, of the other part,  Witnesseth that the said Christian Albaugh & Catharine his wife, Samuel Waltz & Barbara his wife, and Margaret Riner, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifteen dollars current money of the united States to them and each of them in hand paid by the said George Riner, before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have given, granted, bargained, sold, delivered, enfeoffed, confirmed and made over, and by these presents do give, grant, bargain, sell, enfeoff, confirm and make over unto the said George Riner his heirs and assigns forever, all their and each of their the said Catharine, wife of Christian Albaugh & Barbara wife of Samuel Waltz & Margaret Riners undivided moieties, in the following tract or parcel of Land, lying and being in the County & State above written, being part of the first part of a tract of Land called the Finishing Stroke, containing one hundred & thirty eight and an half acres of Land, be the same more or less and formerly the property of Jacob Riner, deceased, father of the said Catharine wife of Christian Albaugh & Barbara wife of Samuel Waltz and Margaret Riner deeded to the said Jacob Riner by Thomas Beatty by deed bearing the date the second day of December Eighteen hundred and one, reference being heard to said deed will more fully and at large appear, each of said moieties containing one ninth part of the above mentioned tract or parcel of land, with all the profits, advantages and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any manner or wise appertaining and the reversion & reversions, rents, issues and profits thereof and all the estate, right, title and interest whatsoever, of them and each of them the said Christian Albaugh and Catharine his wife, Samuel Waltz and Barbara his wife and Margaret Riner, so that Law and in equity of, into and out of the said Tract or parcel of Land and premises hereby bargained and sold, or meant or mentioned or intended hereby so to be, and every or any part and parcel thereof, To have and to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land and the premises with the appurtenances unto him the said George Riner his heirs and assigns forever, to his and their own afs and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever and the said Christian Albaugh and Catharine his wife, Samuel Waltz and Barbara his wife and Margaret Riner their deed each of his or her heirs, Executors & Administrators the said tract or parcel of Land and the premises to the said George Riner his heirs and assigns against them and each of them the said Christian Albaugh & Catharine his wife, Samuel Waltz & Barbara his wife & Margaret Riner their heirs and against all other persons whatsoever claiming by from or under them or either of them the said Christian Albaugh & Catharine his wife, Samuel Waltz & Barbara his wife & Margaret Riner their and each of their heirs and assigns shall and will forever warrant and defend.  And lastly the said Christian Albaugh & Catharine his wife, Samuel Waltz & Barbara his wife & Margaret Riner for themselves & each for him or her self his or her heirs doth covenant and agree to & with the said George Riner his heirs and assigns, that at any time hereafter the said Christian Albaugh & Catharine his wife, Samuel Waltz & Barbara his wife & Margaret Riner & their heirs shall and will at the proper cost & charges of the said George Riner his heirs & assigns make and execute & perform any further act, deed or Instrument of Writing for the better securing & more firm making over of the Land & premises unto the said George Riner his heirs and assigns forever provided always that such act, deed or Instrument of Writing contain no other warranty than is herein expressed in Testimony whereof  the said Christian Albaugh & Catharine his wife, Samuel Waltz & Barbara his wife & Margaret Riner have & each of them hath hereunto set their hands and each of them affixed their seals the day and year first within written.                                                                                                   her mark

Which is thus endorsed, to wit ~~
State of Maryland, Frederick County
September the 22nd day one thousand eight hundred and ten came Christian Albaugh, Samuel Walt and Margaret Riner, before us the Subscribers two of the Justices of the Peace in & for the State & County aforesaid, and acknowledged the within deed and the tract or parcel of Land therein contained or conveyed to be the Right Estate of the within named George Riner his heirs and assigns according to the act of Assembly in such cases made and provided.  And at the same time came Catharine wife of Christian Albaugh & Barbara wife of Samuel Waltz, who being privately examined out of the presence and hearing of their husbands declared that they freely and voluntarily relinquished their right of dower in the within named tract or parcel of Land, without being induced thereto by fears or threats of, or ill usage by their said husbands, or for fear of their displeasure,
